Director, Tax

Howard is a Director in the London tax team. He is a Chartered Tax Advisor and has been working in corporate tax since 2008.

He has a broad range of experience in advising and providing tax compliance services to a wide range of owner managed businesses and large corporate groups.

Howard has extensive experience of advising clients in relation to:

  • Research and Development (R&D) reliefs
  • Corporate restructures
  • Employee share schemes
  • International tax matters
  • Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR)
  • Capital Allowances, including large scale refurbishment projects
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries
  • Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) and Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).

In particular, Howard has spent over 10 years working with clients in the media and creative sectors, and he specialises in guiding companies through the complex landscape of creative sector tax reliefs. With deep expertise in Film, TV, Animation, Video Games, and Theatre Tax Credits, he has helped businesses to unlock the full value of creative sector incentives, ranging from small independent producers to major Hollywood studios.
